Learning together

Listening to “Jonenbo” at the June meeting

During the regular meeting,
we held a small learning session.
Itakura-san told the folk tale “Jonenbo.”
Before going out to tell stories,
this is an important time
for learning inside the group.

The day

Listening together and growing the storytelling

At the regular meeting on June 6, 2026, Monpe no Kai held a small learning session and listened to Itakura-san tell the folk tale “Jonenbo.”

Just as the group values bringing stories to schools and community places, Monpe no Kai also values time for members to listen and learn together. Members check pacing, voice, and words that reach listeners while preparing to hand folk tales forward.

These small moments of learning at regular meetings connect to library storytelling, school visits, and community events.
